Flat Rate Options

Simple Divorce*

This is beneficial to parties who have no serious disagreements and have together resolved most, if not all their issues.

For this option, there are no serious disagreements about custody, and not a lot of assets to divide. The attorney acts as

a neutral party, but can advise both parties about law and procedure.  This option includes a mediation session of up to two

hours with the attorney and attorney preparation time prior to the mediation session.  This option includes time for the attorney

and staff to respond to telephone calls, emails and questions.

Mediated Divorce

This service includes a mediation session of up to three hours with the attorney.  The attorney acts as a neutral party, but can

advise both parties about law and procedures to guide them toward a settlement agreement. It also includes attorney preparation

time prior to the mediation session. This option includes time for the attorney and staff to respond to telephone calls, e-mails and

questions from clients.

Mediated Divorce II

This package includes everything in the Mediated Divorce package plus the benefit of additional time to answer questions and

explain the divorce process or involve professionals.  Often parties are not equally ready to end a marriage and the reluctance

of one party takes the form of hesitation, questions, and delay.  A party may want to involve their therapist or financial advisor

in the discussions. This can be useful when there are concerns or questions regarding emotional issues, child custody, or complex

financial issues which require some investigation and analysis. For most cooperative divorces, this option is the most realistic

because divorce is a highly emotional process  and may require more time and hands on assistance. The service includes a

mediation session of up to five hours with the attorney; attorney preparation time prior to the mediation sessions and time for the

attorney and staff to respond to telephone calls, emails and questions from clients.

Hourly Mediation*

Another option is a mediation which is billed hourly. Depending upon the particulars of your case, it may be more or less affordable

to choose a flat rate.  Clients are billed at the attorney and support staff's prevailing hourly rates. An initial retainer is required to start

the sessions, and clients are required to maintain a trust balance at all times. The cost of sessions and all related work are then

deducted from the retainer.
